JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) announced today it will partner with 10 other large companies to commit to collectively hire 100,000 military members leaving active duty service and other veterans by the end of 2020.
The 100,000 Jobs Mission, a coalition of 41 companies committed to hiring at least 100,000 veterans by 2020, collectively hired 12,179 veterans through March 31, 2012. This number is up from 6,606 veterans hired through the end of December 2011 when the coalition was 21 companies.
The 100,000 Jobs Mission, a coalition of 55 companies committed to hiring at least 100,000 veterans by 2020, collectively hired 18,249 veterans through June 30, 2012. This number is up from 12,179 veterans hired through the end of March of this year.
