JPMorgan Chase and 100,000 Jobs Mission Host Military Hiring Event in Dallas on April 11
Opening Ceremony Featuring Mayor Mike Rawlings Begins at 9:00 a.m.; 100,000 Jobs Mission Will Publicly Announce First Quarter 2013 Hiring Number
DALLAS, April 9, 2013 - JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) and the 100,000 Jobs Mission will host a major hiring event in Dallas for U.S. military veterans, transitioning service members, Guard and Reserve members and military spouses on April 11 at the Dallas Convention Center. More than 120 companies will be there looking to fill more than 5,500 jobs in the Dallas area and 82,000 jobs nationwide. More than 2,300 job seekers have registered to attend.
General registration opens at 8:30 a.m. followed by an opening ceremony at 9:00 a.m. featuring Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings; Anne Motsenbocker, President of Chase in the Dallas region; and General Gary North, USAF (Ret.), Vice President for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. The 100,000 Jobs Mission will publicly announce its first quarter 2013 veteran hiring number during the opening ceremony. Several speakers and experts will be available after the opening ceremony and throughout the day to speak with the press.
