Target and JPMorgan Chase Host MOH Recipient Clint Romesha in Minneapolis

Target and JPMorgan Chase partnered together to host a Veteran Jobs Mission Regional Reception in Minneapolis on February 6. One hundred guests gathered at the Target headquarters to hear from senior leaders as well as keynote speaker and Medal of Honor recipient Clint Romesha.

A U.S. Army veteran, Romesha received the Medal of Honor in February 2013, at the time making him the fourth living recipient of this honor for the Global War on Terrorism. Romesha now dedicates his time to serving the veteran community through his work with America’s Warrior Partnership, a national organization that connects veterans with local veteran-focused nonprofits.

“It is because of employers here this evening that men and women returning from service have a future they can build upon. This is more than ‘thank you for your service.’ A commitment to hiring military members is an investment in their future as well as your own success,” said Romesha.

Mike Gietl, Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase, and John Willoughby, Vice President at Target, opened the event and remarked on the importance of corporate partnership.

“The bank continues to work with external partners in the Veteran Jobs Mission to support veterans in our communities. One such partner, Target, has been a consistent partner from the beginning and continues to lead the way,” said Gietl.
